Bloomberg Ranking of the Best Business Schools in Europe
Bloomberg Businessweek presents the best business schools in Europe 2020 and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. The IMD Business School of Switzerland takes first place with a total score of 100 points.
It is noteworthy that the Swiss business school is already leading in the Bloomberg rankings for the second time in a row. The school topped the list of competent publications in 2019, and in 2020, due to a pandemic, the publication was canceled.
The ranking of universities published by Bloomberg is based on four components. These are graduate pay, tuition, networking, and entrepreneurship. It is important to note that the top five in the overall ranking are universities in different European countries. In particular, the second issue of the publication is about the Spanish IESE Business School, and the third one is the Italian SDA Bocconi. The fourth and fifth places are taken by INSEAD of France and London Business School of Great Britain.
Four of the top ten universities in the ranking belong to the UK, with a total of six UK universities in the ranking. Spain is also represented in the ranking by six universities.
As for the breakdown of Bloomberg rankings by individual components, the compensation index, which is based on graduate incomes, ranks first among Italy’s SDA Bocconi. The Spanish IESE Business School leads in terms of teaching quality, and the French INSEAD leads in terms of networking. According to the Entrepreneurship Index, the leader in the ranking for 2020-2021 is the IE Business School in Madrid.
